19 May 2013 this is the last leg of our +900 kilometer trek across Northern Spain.  What a beautiful day to come to this sacred place called Finisterra, the end of land, as is was know before Columbus came back.  We could be on the French Riviera with all the smooth white beaches here.  There is a fantastic waterfront with seaside restaurants and cafes.  As a treat to ourselves we are spending the night in a Hostel, no more Snoring Orchestra to put up with like last night, private room separate beds and shared bath.
We dropped off our packs and headed out to the Cabo De Finisterra lighthouse, another 6 km round trip.  As is the custom I took a pair of underpants, you could use socks or something else, and burned them at the lighthouse to symbolize the end of my trip.  Tec underwear doesn't burn they smolder!  Had my last feed of Pulpo, octopus, that evening and packed for the trip home.  Bus trip, of course you didn't expect me to walk, in the morning to Santiago to catch a train to Madrid.
