20 May 2013 We boarded the bus in the morning headed to Santiago. It was amazing to travel along the Atlantic coastline of Spain. We couldn't believe how much we hadn't seen as we traveled along the Camino which is more inland. I struck by the cleanliness of villages and towns as we passed through them Spaniards take great pride in their communities. Even saw a lady out in her housecoat sweeping out in front of her doorstep. St. John's should take note. One is amazed as to the efforts the Spanish government has take to the use of wind energy. Almost every hill is doted with Wind Powered Generators. Even indoors the lights are controlled by motion sensors, on when need and automatically off when not needed. Toilets even have two flush settings!
